Terms and Conditions for Chair Cover Hire

For ease, you may print off this page, sign it and return it to us to agree to our conditions.

  • Please check carefully that all the details are correct on the order form/invoices/receipts. If any of the details are incorrect please inform Derby Balloon Company as soon as possible so we can change our records accordingly.
  • Please be aware that it is the responsibility of the customer to ensure the chair covers are suitable and fit the chairs being used. Once a deposit is paid we are happy to provide a sample cover and sash for 7 days. In the event of a cover not being suitable we will refund any deposit made.
  • In the event of a cancellation the booking deposit is non-refundable. If the cancellation is one month before the event, payment must still be made in full.
  • A £50 deposit will secure your booking with Derby Balloon Company.
  • Final numbers must be made 28 days before the event (Slight adjustments can still be made after this time).
  • All outstanding balances are due 2 weeks before the event. Failure to pay any outstanding balances will result in the booking being cancelled and full payment remaining due.
  • Laundering is included in the price of your hired chair covers. Stains resulting from accidental spillage of food and drinks, and marks made at the bottom of the chair cover from guests shoes are classed as Standard Stains. However any damage made to the chair covers that are perceived to have been caused purposefully may result in having to issue an additional laundering/ repair/replacement charge (I.e. Rips, footprints, drawings/pen marks burns etc).
  • Replacement cost for damage and lost covers is £15.00 per chair cover and £1.50 per sash.
  • Derby Balloon Company will Deliver, Set up and Collect the chair covers to and from your venue for a charge of £40 (Within a 15 mile radius of Borrowash, Derby).
  • Payment of your deposit or signature on this form (if seen in person) is deemed as having read, understood and accepted these Terms and Conditions.
